Understanding Abuse
Violence, stalking, harassment, or sexual assault, sometime is committed by someone you may not know at all or someone you are familiar with like a neighbor or someone you work with. Protective Orders against someone who is not an intimate partner is called a non-intimate partner violence protective order. Not all DV agencies are able to help with non-intimate partner violence.
